Welcome
The National Elder Abuse Multidisciplinary Training and Technical Assistance Center (“the National Center”) provides high-quality and up-to-date case consultations, training and information on multidisciplinary teams on elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation to OVC-funded programs and the wider elder protection community.
First established by the US Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime in 2019, the National Center, led by Weill Cornell Medicine / New York City Elder Abuse Center, and in collaboration with Lifespan of Greater Rochester, Red Wind Consulting, the University of Southern California’s National Center on Elder Abuse and the National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life, offers innovative strategies and resources for MDTs’ startup and community building; infrastructure, operations and practice; and sustainability.
