Lisa Rachmuth
Lisa Rachmuth(she/her) is the Program Administrator of the New York City Elder Abuse Center (NYCEAC) and Program Director of the National Center. She was previously the Deputy Director of Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) /NYCEAC's Enhanced Multidisciplinary Teams. Prior to joining NYCEAC, Lisa was the Director of Clinical Initiatives and Programming for NYC’s Human Resource Administration’s Office of Domestic Violence. In both these roles, she worked with systems, communities, and individuals affected by and dedicated to Domestic Violence and Elder Abuse. Lisa has vast social service experience, with particular expertise in child abuse, intergenerational abuse, domestic violence, and housing initiatives for individuals and families. In addition to her years of clinical and administrative experience, Lisa is an experienced workshop curriculum developer and presenter. Lisa is also an Adjunct Professor at The Silberman School of Social Work and a board member for an organization called Evenfooting. Lisa holds a Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
Grace Cheong
Grace Cheong (she/her), LMSW, serves as the program manager for the National Center, managing all aspects of programming and day-to-day operations of the Center, working with core partners of the program to provide selected Office of Victims of Crime-funded tribal and non-tribal teams with the necessary training and technical assistance to support their growth and development. Before this position, she was the Deputy Director of Singapore’s Adult Protective Service, overseeing the enactment and implementation of the Vulnerable Adults Act to protect Vulnerable Adults. Grace has more than 20 years of experience in policy and program development and delivery, with a special focus on capacity and capability building for protective services and work with Older Adults. Grace holds an MS in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work and a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Monash University (Australia).
Khi-Lynn Louis
Khi-Lynn Louis, LMSW, provides oversight of the National Center’s technical assistance and training as the Lead TA Advisor. Before this position, Khi-Lynn coordinated and facilitated NYCEAC's Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island E-MDTs, provided consultations to NYC professionals on complex elder abuse cases, and trained professionals and social work students on a range of elder abuse topics. Khi-Lynn gained extensive experience with high-risk elder abuse cases as a social worker for the Human Resource Administration for Adult Protective Services (APS) and supervisor for the Jewish Association for Services-Aged APS program. Khi-Lynn also worked as a supervisor at Urban Resource Institute (URI) in their domestic violence shelter, piloting the People and Animals Living Safely (PALS) initiative, which recognized pets' importance as a primary source of emotional support for domestic violence survivors. Khi-Lynn is a 2013 alumna of the Yeshiva University Wurzweiler School of Social Work.
Phillip Kim
Phillip Kim (he/him) is the Technical Assistance Coordinator for the National Elder Abuse MDT Training and Technical Assistance Center. He manages and maintains the Center’s database and analyzes the data to support performance management and program development. Phillip also manages the Center’s digital and social media platforms and curates content for education and community building. Phillip also assists with planning, organizing, and implementing program-related activities and events. Before this role, Phillip was part of the New York City Elder Abuse Center’s expansion project and assisted with successfully developing the Queens and Staten Island E-MDTs. Phillip received his B.A. in Health Science from Boston University and is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary.
Paul L. Caccamise
Paul L. Caccamise (he/him), LMSW, ACSW is Vice President for Program at Lifespan of Greater Rochester. He was an administrator Monroe County (NY) Department of Social Services before joining Lifespan in 2002. Since then, he has provided administrative oversight for agency programs focusing on older adults at risk of mistreatment and exploitation, including the National Center, the Upstate Elder Abuse Center, Regional Long Term Care Ombudsman, Guardianship, and Geriatric Addictions Programs. Paul oversees the statewide elder abuse E-MDT initiative at Lifespan, which is coordinated by Lifespan in partnership with NYSOFA and NYCEAC. He also serves as the Project Director for the National Center for State and Tribal Elder Justice Coalitions. Paul oversees the NYS Coalition on Elder Abuse, sponsored by Lifespan, and is a founding member and Steering Committee member of the National Network of State Elder Justice Coalitions. He is also responsible for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging and Accessibility (DEIBA) activities at Lifespan. Paul is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York and an Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) member.
Lindsay Calamia
Lindsay Calamia (she/her) is the Enhanced Multidisciplinary Team (E-MDT) Program Manager at Lifespan of Greater Rochester. Lindsay collaborates with the National Elder Abuse MDT Training and Technical Assistance Center around the delivery of technical assistance services and project implementation. She supports the development, administration, and operation of the New York State E-MDT program, and related programs. Lindsay supervises and leads the work of E-MDT Technical Assistance (TA) Advisors in the Upstate Elder Abuse Center at Lifespan (UpEAC). She also provides statewide and national consultations on cases of adult abuse. Prior to joining Lifespan, Lindsay worked for Adult Protective Services of Boston, Massachusetts.
Lisa Furr
Lisa Furr (she/her) is a Technical Assistance Advisor for the National Center with over 30 years of experience in elder abuse and community collaboration. She works at Lifespan of Greater Rochester, NY, and is the point person for grantees. She co-facilitates the bi-monthly Peer Leadership Groups and meets with many grantees one on one to brainstorm issues and check in with grantees. She previously served as a Training and Technical Assistance Advisor with NCALL, the National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life. An educator at heart and by training, Lisa holds a master’s degree and lives in Richmond, Virginia.
Martie Washington
Martie Washington (she/her) serves as a training partner for the National Elder Abuse MDT Training and Technical Assistance Center. She is the Abuse in Later Life Program Coordinator at the National Clearinghouse on Abuse in Later Life (NCALL), and is responsible for coordinating of training/technical assistance activities for the Office on Violence Against Women’s Abuse in Later Life Grant Program and other special projects. A social worker by training, Martie has an extensive background in case management, grant development and management, public/behavioral health, and collaborative team development focused on issues including elder abuse, drug-endangered children, domestic violence, and sexual violence. She has developed and delivered multiple in-person and virtual trainings addressing collaborative approaches and abuse in later life. Martie graduated from the University of Rhode Island and has worked in the social services field for over 40 years.
Julia Martinez
Julia Martinez (she/her) is a researcher at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine. Julia's research focuses on elder abuse multidisciplinary teams and person-centered approaches in elder abuse interventions. She studied the Service Advocate program, an enhancement of the Los Angeles County Forensic Center. Julia has contributed, and continues to contribute, to the development and evaluation of the National Elder Abuse MDT Training and Technical Assistance Center. Prior to her work at USC, Julia served as the coordinator of the Financial Abuse Specialist Team MDT of Ventura County, California.
